Vice President of Sales

Our client company has created a leading app that helps you get access to convenient, same-day and next-day healthcare. On this app you can easily find a nearby care provider, schedule a visit and avoid a long wait. The app is powered by a network of doctors and clinics who run this software to deliver a modern patient experience for both in-person office visits and virtual visits online. This provider software makes running an on-demand healthcare practice easy–and keeps patients happy. More than 27 million visits and 7 million COVID tests have been booked through this app.

You will set objectives and targets that align with our client company organizational goals, while taking on new challenges with a sense of urgency, energy, and enthusiasm. The VP of Sales is responsible for collaborating with the leadership team, to execute a comprehensive, strategic sales plan focused on hyper-growth. You will understand our client company's unique market position and keep a keen eye on competitors to build and implement a cutting-edge sales strategy that keeps our client company ahead of the curve and realizing its growth opportunities. Our client company is looking for a competitive, assertive, determined, and analytical VP of Sales with excellent leadership skills to capitalize on our massive potential growth. 

What you'll do:

  • Serve in a key leadership capacity with strategic partners to develop, lead, monitor, and measure the success of go-to-market strategies and ongoing relationships

  • Forecast deal flow and architect and negotiate creative deals and partnerships

  • Work closely with internal teams, including account management, marketing, finance, legal and others, to ensure success and performance

  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to meet or exceed quota and annual growth

  • Design a data-driven approach, goals and metrics to drive and monitor the overall success of the sales function, including contracting targets, timing and closure rates, and measuring the overall health of provider relationships

  • Lead the strategic development, growth, and scaling of the sales function, including team growth and career development, resource needs, capacity planning, and organizational design

  • Guide and oversee the assessment and ongoing evolution of the sales operating infrastructure, including systems and tools, data sources and processes, to identify changes and/or enhancements needed to increase scale, efficiency, and quality

  • Cultivate a culture of positivity, teamwork, and collaboration

You'll be great for this role if you:

  • Have 10+ years’ experience in a business-to-business selling environment with regulated medical products, technology or healthcare

  • Ability to position oneself as a thought leader to achieve results

  •  Are a dynamic leader who enjoys building, deepening, and maintaining trust-based relationships externally and internally

  • Are data-driven decision-maker who likes making sense of ambiguity

  • Think strategically without losing the focus of execution

  • Are a self-starter with a zest for creating a holistic playbook and has demonstrated the ability to build and run processes at scale

  • Have had success leading highly consultative complex sales to hospitals and health systems, preferably as a mix of software and services, and ideally involving analytics.

  • Are very entrepreneurial and excited to be self-reliant working in a fast-moving startup
